2020 BILLY HURLEY III AND THE BRAVE GOLF TOURNAMENT
Hosting 18 active duty servicemen and servicewomen chosen from 22 Navy
golf courses across the country, the 4th Annual Billy Hurley III and the Brave Golf Tournament will benefit the Billy Hurley III Foundation.
The Billy Hurley III Foundation was established to support, honor and benefit a vital group of unsung heroes: military families. The sacrifice and selflessness of our nation’s military personnel are mirrored in their spouses, children and loved ones. We pay tribute to their strength and courage as they, in essence, serve alongside our service members.
About THE Event
This one-of-a-kind event will generate excitement and support for meaningful philanthropic organizations that have helped shape Billy’s career, while offering a tremendous opportunity for sponsors to host active duty men and women to play and interact with PGA TOUR champion Billy Hurley III, the only U.S. Naval Academy graduate and veteran currently on the TOUR.
Billy served 5 years active duty as a Surface Warfare Officer, which included time on a destroyer in the Persian Gulf protecting Iraqi oil platforms, before returning to civilian life as a full-time TOUR contender.
Hosted at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm, the tournament will feature 18 military golfers picked to play with Billy by a raffle drawing from Navy golf courses.
